I often channel for myself, generally to help me gain clarity on a situation or to make my life easier in some way. Not long after I first moved to Mexico, taking daily lessons to improve my Spanish, I asked this question.

 

QUESTION: Is it possible to ”remember” a language by connecting to a fast lifetime in which I spoke that language, and ”downloading” it into my consciousness? And if so, what is the process to do this? Can I do this?

 

Yes, this is entirely possible, with some potential restrictions.

The restrictions largely relate to which types of experiences that particular soul has planned for that lifetime, and whether learning the new language is part of a loose plan, or whether having difficulty learning the new language is part of the plan. Also there could be restrictions given individual choices made by that soul for that lifetime, such as learning disabilities, mental health issues, and the like.

 

But the vast majority of people should be able to access a past lifetime and therefore access that earlier language, EXCEPT (and this is a big exception) if the individual does not believe this is possible. Either they do not believe in past lifetimes or they do not believe it is possible in general to access a past life and therefore access the associated language, or they do not believe it is possible FOR THEM to do so. And a whole host of other possible conflicting beliefs could restrict a person’s ability to do this.

 

So, even though the vast majority of people should be able to access a past lifetime and therefore access that earlier language, in reality only a few people will be able to accomplish this.

{Ouch, fair assessment, but this hurt. I was hoping for an easier way to learn Spanish}

 

The process is fairly simple.

 

1. Identify a lifetime in which you spoke the desired language.
2. Really go deeply into the FEELING of having been that person — because that person is still ”inside” you. 
3. Continue feeling the experiences of that person AS IF YOU ARE THEM, for a period of time (daily for 1-2 weeks).
4. Now, (and this is perhaps the difficult part), allow the desired language to flow through you, WITHOUT TRYING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.
